Accommodation part 1
You enter the property via a uPVC front door with a fitted boot mat into the entrance hall, a rustic wood effect vinyl flooring continues through into both the kitchen, dining room and through to the back door and utility. The kitchen is positioned to the rear of the property and enjoys a window looking out onto the decked garden. The kitchen is fitted with a good range of wall and base units with work surfaces over and teal tiled splash backs. There is a Range style cooker fitted in the corner with a cooker hood over. There are spaces for both a dishwasher and fridge. From there a door leads into the rear lobby with a door to the rear garden and laundry room which has a wash hand basin and space for a washing machine and dryer with one on top of the other. (Previously this was used as a downstairs WC so this could be altered to suit the new owners needs).
Accommodation part 2
Off the entrance hall is also the dining room which currently holds an eight-seater table with space for further furniture. The room enjoys a beautiful timber mantlepiece with decorative tiled surround and gas fire, a characterful feature along with exposed ceiling timbers. There is an inner lobby with door to rear garden and stairs leading to the first floor. Off the entrance hall are two ground floor bedrooms, one would also be well-suited as a study/play room if five bedrooms are not required. Throughout the whole of the property there are decent storage options with many cupboards dotted about - this home is certainly not short of cupboard space for keeping organised!
Accommodation part 3
On the first floor is the large living room which is a spacious room spanning the entire width of the property which measures 25ft! This room enjoys a lot of character and charm with many period features believed to date back to around 1800’s including exposed timber beams, exposed stone walls, two large bay windows with window seats allowing for lovely views over the Church’s grounds and to the distant fields beyond. There is also a working open fireplace. The master bedroom enjoys a modern en-suite shower room. There is also a very generous family bathroom on the first floor with large bath, walk in shower cubicle with drying area, wash hand basin and low-level WC.
Accommodation part 4
On the first-floor landing, there are two further staircases which lead to the second floor, one staircase per bedroom. The left hand staircase leads to a dressing room with bespoke fitted wardrobes which cleverly slope into the eaves. There is a window to the rear of the house offering a view over Chudleigh to far-reaching countryside beyond. An exposed stone and brick archway with arched timber door leads into bedroom three which is a double room again with pleasant views to the front. The second staircase leads to another dressing room and in turn to bedroom four, with the same arched doorway as bedroom three, a very striking and characterful feature. These rooms are very well suited for children/teenagers and the dressing area could also be used as a play area or study.
To the rear of the property is an enclosed decked courtyard garden making a wonderful spot for outdoor furniture and displaying potted plants. There is an outside tap and side access to the private lane leading to the parking area, where there are two allocated parking spaces.
Mains gas is connected to the property with gas fired central heating. Mains water and drainage. Mains electricity.
