You enter the property into the entrance hall with a convenient downstairs WC, stairs to the first floor and door into the living room. The living room is a large room with a squared archway into a further reception in total the rooms span the entire length of the house - a very impressive size. There is a large window to the front of the property enjoying a pleasant outlook onto the front garden which is home to a beautiful flowering Cherry tree. To the other end of the room are the sliding doors allowing views of the expansive garden and plenty of natural light to fill the room. The kitchen is fitted with a range of wooden wall and base units with work surfaces over. There is an eye-level Hotpoint oven, gas hob fitted into the work surface, stainless steel sink with drainer and spaces for an under counter washing machine and dishwasher.
There is an inner hallway which leads to the back door, courtesy door to the double garage and to a further reception room. The reception room is currently used as the formal dining room however, it could lend itself well to a multitude of uses including a ground floor bedroom, playroom, snug or study, all with fabulous views of the garden from the large sliding doors. There is a stain-glass window of a Kingfisher to the hallway which makes a striking feature. There is great potential for the downstairs layout to be re-configured to enlarge the kitchen if desired.
From the entrance hall, stairs rise to the first-floor landing which leads to all rooms and a pull-down ladder into the loft. The master bedroom is positioned over the garage and is of a very generous size with multiple velux windows, there is also an area sectioned off ready for an en-suite to be fitted if desired (this work was planned but never finished). This room could also lend itself to being split into two (still large) rooms. A large area of storage to the eaves proves extremely useful. There are 4 further bedrooms, 2 of which are doubles. The family bathroom is fitted with a modern 3-piece suite comprising a bath with shower over and glass shower screen, WC and wash hand basin.
The Front garden is laid to lawn with an established flowering Cherry tree providing a pleasant approach to the property. There is a double driveway leading to the double garage with up and over doors. Side access leads to the rear garden. The plot itself is larger than average with ample room for a veggie patch, swing set, a good area of lawn, a seating area or two and of course a BBQ spot!
