Chudleigh is a small town between Exeter and Newton Abbot, close to the edge of Dartmoor National Park and in the popular Teign Valley. Dartmoor National Park is best known for it's striking granite tors, steep wooded river valleys and heather covered moorland. Offering a wide selection of recreational opportunities such as walking, cycling, riding and fishing on the River Dart. Many of the region's finest beaches are within easy driving distance. The well regarded Chudleigh Primary School is located in the town along with regular bus services. For secondary schools you have the popular Teign School in Kingsteignton. Chudleigh offers a wealth of local amenities including shops, a cricket field, a swimming pool, football pitches, allotments, parks, two doctors surgeries, a dentist and a library. For larger shops there are supermarkets in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot and Exeter. The market town of Totnes has a mainline railway station with direct links to London Paddington, along with Exeter St Davids Station. There is also an international airport in Exeter. The A38 (Devon Expressway) which by-passes the town provides good access to Plymouth, Exeter and the M5 motorway network. The A380 connects Torbay.
You enter the property into an entrance hallway which opens into a bright and airy kitchen. A large window overlooks the open front aspect. The kitchen is fitted with a range of base level and eye level wooden units, space and plumbing for a dishwasher and washing machine, space for a fridge/freezer and a further appliance. There is a double electric oven built in and four ring gas hob. There is a generous sized storage area beneath the stairs. A doorway leads into the 'wow' factor living room/dining room, an extended and very generous sized room with a large window, skylights and patio doors leading into the garden. Ample room for a dining room table and chairs. There is an attractive gas fire providing a focal point. A cloakroom is located by the front door with a WC, wash hand basin and a built-in cupboard. A window overlooks the front aspect. On the first-floor landing is an airing cupboard and built in storage. The master bedroom is a double room with a large window overlooking the rear garden. The second bedroom is a small double with a window overlooking the front aspect. A large platform lies over the stairwell and provides additional storage/display space in this room. The third bedroom is a single room overlooking the rear garden. All bedrooms are serviced by the bathroom which is fully tiled and fitted with a 'P' shaped bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin. A wooden ladder gives access from the landing to a boarded loft, which has power and light plus a window for natural light. We are advised this area has been used as a study.
The rear garden has been landscaped and levelled and is mainly laid to realistic looking artificial lawn with a curved patio area adjacent to the house. The boundaries are provided by fencing and a gate gives rear access. To the front of the house is a block paved driveway. A single garage is located in a block to the side of the house with a workshop area and with a further garden behind – ideal for those looking for a tucked away spot for the vegetables! (currently this area of garden is over grown) There is also two levels of decking.
